This private park is situated on a large area with plenty of space to explore. It offers 20 sites for short term stays, with level gravel sites separated by grass. Unfortunately, the sites have no shade and are very close together, making it difficult to anchor a canopy. The entrance to the park has a huge bump which can be damaging to RVs, and there are speed bumps throughout the park. The sites have lake access and a cement pad, and the permanent sites are tastefully decorated with patio lights or walkway lights and landscaping. The showers are clean and hot, but a bit of a walk away from the sites. At night, the low voltage lighting around the sites creates a beautiful and inviting atmosphere. The park also offers electric service and good water pressure. There is also fishing and scuba diving available, and an old plane or boat out in the lake for divers to explore. The gate is closed and locked at night, but visitors will get the combination while staying there.

Chillicothe RV & Recreation Area is a premier RV camp and recreation area located in Chillicothe, IL. The campground is spread over 230 acres and features 3 stocked, spring-fed lakes, a sandy beach for swimming, and crystal clear water for bank fishing. The area also has playgrounds and pavilions for family fun, hiking and biking trails, and RV camping with hookups (no tents). The campground offers clean restrooms and showers, 2 dump stations, portable pump out, LP gas, firewood, and ice. Paintball, shopping, gas, food, and cinema are close by. The campground offers a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
