This campground is located close to Weldon Springs and Clinton Lake state parks, and offers overnight spaces with water and electric, as well as a dump station. The staff are helpful and will help groups arrange their camps in a circle. Unfortunately, the water pressure is awful, the playground has been closed for weeks without warning, and the pond is covered in algae, making it unsuitable for fishing. The groundskeeper has been reported to be inappropriate and disrespectful on multiple occasions, and communication between the owners and renters of annual sites is lacking. The same lot also has a resident who likes to sit outside looking at adult magazines with his shorts around his knees, which can be off-putting. Despite these issues, the campground is a good option for a one night stay, and is often quite empty on Sundays.
