Cahokia RV Parque is a great option for those looking for a convenient and affordable camping spot near St. Louis. The campground offers full hookups, a small pool and playground, and a nice restaurant on-site. The site is hard packed gravel with a small concrete patio, table and fire ring and a lot of weeds instead of grass. The shuttle driver is very helpful and will take you to and from Busch Stadium and the Arch. There is a huge grass field belonging to a church directly behind the park, so there is plenty of room to run your pets. The noise from the highway and the trucks stopping and starting at the traffic light can be severe, but this is fairly typical of urban campgrounds.
