. Lake Sara Campground is a budget-friendly place to stay located in a beautiful setting. There have also been reports of music playing with disco lights until 1:30am, and the manager does not enforce any kind of quiet hours in the campground. Additionally, there is a sewer problem at this campground and the smell is unbearable. The sites are fair and nice size, but the electricity goes out often and the manager does not respond to requests. The campground is mostly full-time campers who are friendly and helpful, and the staff is excellent to work with. The laundry facility is small but in good working order. The bathrooms and showers are clean, and the campground is wooded with a nice lake. The manager is not very engaged in day-to-day operations, but the permanent spot people do a lot to improve the appearance of the campground. Signs can be hard to follow and the campground needs to be cleaned up a bit more.
