It offers large, level sites with electric hook-ups, a picnic shelter with tables and grills, and a breathtaking view of the Mississippi River. The campground has grassy areas for tent camping and back-in sites for trailers, as well as pit toilets and sporadic faucets. There is a steep winding road up to the park, and an old cemetery on the grounds. The park also features the historic earthen fort, a playground, and amazing vistas. Water is available mid-campground and at the dump station, and there is a hydrant for general use. The cost is $18/day, making it a great bargain.
