This campground is a great value and offers a variety of amenities. The sites are level and have plenty of shade and grass, and there is a playground nearby for kids. Pets are welcome and its a great place to take your dog for a walk around the lake or the park. There is also a small lake for fishing and picnicking. The bathrooms are nice and the showers have hot water and good pressure. The campground staff are friendly and come around to collect the fees. Each site has a fire ring, picnic table, electric and water hookups. The nearest town is only 4 miles away and has fast food, a grocery store, hospital, and a Walmart. The park is beautiful and well-maintained, and the sites are grassy and can get muddy with rain. The pull-through sites are easy to access for big rigs. Unfortunately, there are no sewer hookups.
