From The Campground

Forest Glen Preserve is a nature preserve and park located in Westville, Illinois. The park features beech-maple and oak-hickory forest types, as well as four registered Illinois Nature Preserves and a savanna restoration area. The park offers rental buildings for family reunions and picnics, including enclosed buildings and open shelters. Modern campgrounds are also available. The River Ridge Back Pack Trail is a popular hiking and camping trail within the park, and a $5.00 per person fee is charged for hiking and camping to help offset trail maintenance costs. The park is open year-round with varying hours depending on the season.
