Pere Marquette State Park is a beautiful and scenic campground located on the banks of the Illinois River, just north of Grafton. The park features a lodge built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, as well as cabins, a restaurant, and a winery. Cell service is limited, but Starlink internet is available, even if it is partially obstructed. The nearby town of Grafton offers food, bars, wineries, and antique shops. This is a great place to stay for a short getaway, with lots of outdoor activities and a peaceful atmosphere.
