Illiniwek Campground is a great place to stay in northwest IL. With lush colors and pleasant weather, its the perfect spot for a camping getaway. The campground is situated on the edge of the Mississippi River, offering stunning views of the river and plenty of fishing opportunities. Its conveniently located near the Great River Trail, making it easy to access the trail for biking or hiking. The campground has both RV and tent sites, with electric and water hook-ups, fire pits, picnic tables, and a playground for kids. The office is open Mon-Sat until 8 pm, and theres a small store on site. The bathrooms are kept clean, although one of the shower stalls in the womens restroom is not working. There is some road noise, but overall its a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the campground is usually only 20% full during the week.
