Sherwood Forest Campground is a wooded campground located adjacent to Hillsboro Lake in Hillsboro, Illinois. The campground offers 125 permanent campsites, 15 short term campsites, and two host sites, all with electrical and water hookups. There is a dump station available within the campground. The campground also features a clean, well-maintained shower house facility, a public comfort station, a covered stage, pavilions, and a playground. Discounts are available for senior citizens, individuals with a class 2 or 2A disability, and active duty and reserve military, police officers, and firefighters.
