From The Campground

Blanchard Island Recreation Area is a Class B campground located in New Boston, Illinois. It is a 6.5-acre park along the Mississippi River that offers 15 primitive campsites with great views of the river. The park is shaded by large mature maple, cottonwood, and sycamore trees. These campsites are perfect for tents and small trailers and shorter motor homes. This is a great “off the beaten path” campground for those who appreciate the peace and quiet that this has to offer.
