This campground is the perfect escape for families looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With two cabins overlooking the pond, kayaks, canoes, and peddle boats available for free to campers, and an open cabin with games, books, and WiFi, there is something for everyone. The campground also features a basketball court, play area, and outdoor games. The sites are on a large paved pad near the road with hook ups, and the prairie land is flat which lends itself to easily traveling road noise. The 143 acres of farmland is being converted into an RV resort, with remnants of the farm in the charming corn crib and the grain silos that have been converted into the office. The sites are very spacious and there are acres of groomed trails, two fishing ponds (one for kayaking) and lots of wildlife. The campground is brand new, with the sites being piles of gravel rolled fairly level. There is also a nice playground for kids, and a pond in which to try your luck. The campground offers a 10% discount for Dyrt members, and the owner is very friendly and accommodating.
