This campground is perfect for boaters, hunters, and fishers. It is heavily forested and generally quiet, with the exception of the powerboats on the nearby lake. The campground has asphalt roads and gravel sites, which are generally flat and even. There are electric hookups, but no water or sewer. It is necessary to bring extension cords to connect to the power post, as it serves two adjacent sites. There are water pumps throughout the campground for communal use, and a short trail from the end of the reservable loop that leads to a marina with a floating bridge. There is a staircase down the steep slope to the lake with a small floating dock at the bottom. The sites have a 60% shade cover, and a picnic table and fire ring. Verizon and T-Mobile have limited to no bars, and there is no WiFi. OTA TV channels are limited to 5. The cost is $26/night with no discount. Front to back jack leveling is required, and no blocks are needed. The pedestal placement is in the center of the site length. Maneuverability is adequate. Upon arrival, the office was closed and being worked on by contractors, and the camp hosts were leaving for the year. The site was only 30A, but a camp host site across the road had water and 50A. After discussion, the camp host allowed us to stay in the site.
