This campground is a great home base for families and RVers alike. With plenty of shade, large sites, and pet-friendly policies, its a great place to stay for a weekend or a whole season. The grounds are well kept, with two stocked ponds for fishing and a playground for kids. The staff is friendly and helpful, with a runner to guide you to your campsite. The sites are a bit cramped, so be prepared to feel rushed when unhitching. There is a Caseys nearby and a farm that sells firewood, and you can get a small cell signal there. Activities are often scheduled, including bingo, fish feeding, and a country opry show on Saturday nights. There is also a giant slide called Big Red. The campground closes after the last weekend in October and reopens in April. Be aware that the roads are not big rig friendly and that shade is a rare commodity in the non-seasonal pull through sites.

Kentuckiana Kampground is a family campground located near Hopedale, Illinois featuring country music shows every Saturday night. The campground offers pull-through, shaded sites with full hookups, as well as secluded, primitive tent camping in the 'holler.' RV clubs, groups, and rallies are welcome, and the park has facilities and space to accommodate their needs. The campground also offers free park shelter reservations. Fun and free activities are available for registered campers and visitors to the park.
