What others are saying about this campground
Description: Paul Wolff Campground is a well-maintained and clean campground located just 50 miles west of Chicago. The spacious and level sites are mostly back-ins and asphalt, and there are water hookups available on most sites. While they do not take reservations, they have a daily hotline that provides daily availability updates. The tent sites are nicely arranged for privacy and are separated from the RV sites. The campground offers a few wooded trails for hiking. However, it is located near a train station, a busy road, and an airport, so if youre a light sleeper, you may hear noise throughout the night. Despite this, it is a nice and quiet sanctuary that gives you the feeling of being in the country while still being conveniently located near shopping areas. The bathrooms are okay, not great, but the service at check-in is very nice. Overall, the campground is a nice place, and if youre looking for a peaceful retreat thats not far from the city, this is a great option.
