The campground is surrounded by trees providing a nice shady area to camp. There are two campgrounds, Plainview and Lakeview, both offering electric hookups. There is a nice restaurant on the lake that offers a great view. There are several trails around the lake that are great for hiking. The lake is clean and fishing is allowed, but swimming is not allowed. Mosquitoes can be bad later in the season, so be sure to bring some insect repellent. There are a few low spots that hold water, so be sure to pick your site accordingly.
