Lake Ladonna Campground is a great family destination for a weekend getaway. With themed weekends, a lake with inflatables and a deep side for experienced swimmers, lifeguards on duty, and affordable concessions, there is something for everyone. The bathrooms are clean and new and the staff is friendly and helpful. The park also has a lodge and creek, though the creek is unfortunately filled with garbage. The only downside is the train tracks that run nearby, which can be quite loud during the night. Despite this, the campground is a great place to visit and the music and partying can drown out the sound of the trains. Prices are a bit high for a single mom, but overall this is a great place to bring the family.

Lake Ladonna Family Campgrounds is a family-friendly campground that opens in mid-April 2023 (weather permitting). The campground offers general and seasonal camping, as well as cabins for rent. Amenities include swimming, scheduled events, and a campgrounds map. The campground is located in a beautiful area with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. Upcoming scheduled events include 80's Weekend (Party Night), Christmas in July (Snow Santa), Country 'Heeeeee-haaaaaw' Corn Boil, and Karaoke Sing Along. The campground also provides outdoor safety tips to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip. Please note that holiday weekends will be pre-paid in advance this year 2023.
