Mt. Hawley is an excellent choice for RVers looking to beat the heat and humidity of the southern states. This mobile home and RV park is well maintained, with electric, water, and sewer hookups provided on every site. There are no restroom or shower facilities, but it is within walking distance to a nice Italian family style restaurant. The park is peaceful and quiet, with large shade trees and a wonderful southerly breeze. There are a lot of RV sites in the front part of the park, and the park manager will hand deliver your RV into your site and assure the electric, water, and sewer are all properly connected. After the storm dumped a bunch of snow, Roy made sure our spot was plowed out so we could leave the park more easily the next morning. There are many restaurants, grocery stores, shopping centers, and Walmart as close as a five minute drive. Prices are based on length of stay, one day, week, or month. Unfortunately, there is no wireless, but if you go up to the nearby strip mall there are some free ones.
