Deer Run Campground is a great spot for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. With lots of room and easy maneuvering for trailers and RVs, electric and water at each site, and a friendly on-site manager, its the perfect place to camp. The primitive sites are away from the hustle and bustle, and the bathrooms are close and well-stocked. The lake is surrounded by trees and stars, and is great for fishing, although swimming is not allowed. The playground is a great spot for kids to let off some steam, and the cabins provide AC for those who need it. Unfortunately, there is a lot of graffiti in the area, and the bathrooms and showers are not always kept clean. The trails and bridges are in need of repair, but the campground is still a great place to spend some time in nature.
