Rock Island Quad Cities KOA is a great option for an overnight stop. The well-maintained campground has a mixture of shaded and sunny sites, some on concrete pads and others on gravel. The gravel roads are wide and the sites are relatively level. The staff is friendly and efficient, providing escorts to the sites. Though there are limited amenities, the small lake and creek provide a view and there is also a dog park and a small putt-putt course. The bathrooms and showers are clean and acceptable. The campground is located near a freeway so there is some noise, but it is easy to get in and out and there is plenty of room to maneuver. Though some areas of the campground could use a face-lift, the campground overall is fairly well-kept and clean.
