Military Park Scott AFB Famcamp (Scott AFB) is a great place to stay for RV campers. The second section down the road is especially nice, with spacious back-in sites surrounded by trees. The bathhouse is impeccable, and the laundry room is small but clean. Although there are no sewer hookups, the dump station is well equipped and conveniently located. The campground is peaceful and quiet, making it easy to relax with friends. The staff is professional, friendly, and always willing to help. Electrical issues are dealt with promptly, and overall, the park is well maintained and provides easy access to all amenities on the base. Visitors can fish in one of the two ponds, and theres plenty of space to walk dogs. The location makes it easy to explore St. Louis, as well as the attractions on the Illinois side of the river. Visitors are advised not to use GPS to find the park entrance, as it will take you to the wrong gate. It is best to call ahead, as the office is located at a different location than the Famcamp.
