Hickory Hill Campground is an older campground situated 12 miles away from the nearest interstate. It has many full-time and seasonal residents, but there are still spots available for temporary visitors. Although there is a trap range nearby, it was not in use during our stay, and we found the site quiet. The laundry room was clean and fully functional. The sites are rather level, and the power and water worked well. In addition to friendly staff, there are numerous amenities that visitors can enjoy, such as kids play areas and a pool. The campground has a rural ambiance, with plenty of trees, grass, and a nearby fishing spot. Visitors can also experience a mini-golf course, a pavilion, and a store with ice.
