South Sandusky Campground in Sesser, IL is easy to locate and has a convenient gate office. The FHUs back-in sites are found in Dogwood, the first loop, and most can easily accommodate larger rigs. The campground has five loops and a walk-in tent area, all available for reservations. The non-FHU sites closer to the lake are also worth staying in. Water and electric (30amp) work well, and AT&T and Verizon both come in strong. The campground is surrounded by mature trees which make satellite tv iffy. However, OTA channels are available, and both Verizon and T-Mobile get 2 bars. There are miles of paved bicycle trails, fishing spots, and a 27-hole golf course thats only a few miles away. The park is decently spaced, and it is well worth the cost, especially with the Geezer Pass.
