This RV campground offers plenty of room for everyone, from tents to massive RVs, with a pool, playground, pirate ship, fishing pond, electric golf carts and small arcade room. It is very inexpensive compared to campgrounds nearby and friendly/quiet dogs are allowed. The staff are knowledgeable and polite, and there are weekend activities for the kids. It is a beautiful park with lots of mature trees, a stocked private pond and the office/store sells live bait too. Some of the sites are seasonal, with transient sites being unimproved, but the electric and water high pressure require attention. The Wi-Fi is good and free, and there is a very nice pool and catch-and-release fishing on the property.

Robin Hood Woods is a peaceful and quiet campground resort located in Shelbyville, Illinois. The resort offers a variety of accommodations including log cabins, cedar cabins, and family cottages. The campground and RV park has 250 campsites with electrical service ranging from 15-amp to 50-amp. The resort is located 2.5 miles from Lake Shelbyville, which offers boating, swimming, and some of the best fishing in Illinois. Robin Hood Woods also offers amenities such as two bathhouses, an outdoor pavilion, store, laundry room, swimming pool, game room, child's playground, and surrounding camp are trails and paths for hiking and mountain biking. There are also many activities and attractions available in the Town of Shelbyville and the region surrounding Lake Shelbyville such as horseback riding, museums, oddities unique to Shelbyville, and many historical attractions.
