The resort is situated on two large, peaceful lakes and surrounded by lush green lawns and acres of trees. It is a great destination for RVers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the outdoors. The resort offers a variety of activities, including tennis courts, paddle boats, a walking trail, ice cream, bait, firewood, and a beach for swimming. The sites are spacious, level gravel pull-throughs with fire rings and picnic tables. The resort also offers free WiFi, a large clean laundry with change machine, and a sitting area with games, puzzles and books. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the park is very clean and quiet. The nearby town of Dekalb, home of NIU, keeps things busy year round. Family owned and operated since 1986, Sycamore offers more than just camping, as a day use facility where families may come to fish, swim and picnic. Our lakeside campground offers fishing in two spring-fed lakes, a swimming beach, boat rentals, tennis, as well as a full range of camping amenities.
