What others are saying about this campground
This campground is situated on a man-made lake and is a nice, quiet, and friendly place to camp. It is basic, with no frills or extras, but still has the essentials. The receptionist was very helpful and allowed us to drop off the payment in the lockbox. However, since our last visit 3 years ago, the campground has gone downhill. There are only 12 sites for transients and the rest are permanently occupied. The campground was littered with trash, including broken glass, and the dumpster had no cover and was overflowing. The office was staffed by two teenagers who were more interested in each other than in helping the guests. The toilets are porta-potties and there are no showers. Many of the sites are not level and ours was barely long enough for a 35 motor home. There are lots of permanent campers and waterfront sites are all rented on a long-term basis.
