Salamonie is a big campground with lots of nice sites, many of which offer stunning water views. The sites fill up quickly, so be sure to reserve ahead of time. For supplies, wood, and boat rentals, visitors can head to Pirate’s Cove Marina. The campground is well-maintained, with clean restrooms and plenty of hot water for showers. There is a pet station to provide poop bags and a place to dispose of them, as well as a camp store with groceries and essentials. The sites range from level to sloped, and some offer shade. There are also pit toilets scattered around the campground. Visitors can enjoy activities such as boating, waterskiing, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, geocaching, hiking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, hunting, and swimming at the beach. From The Campground
Salamonie Lake is a 2,665-acre lake property, constructed for flood control by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
