What others are saying about this campground
Mounds State Recreation Area near Brookville, Indiana is a beautiful campground with plenty of outdoor recreation. It offers camping for tents, trailers, and motorhomes, with a dozen of the sites having full hookups with 50amp power, water, and sewer. There is a camp store with ice, firewood, souvenirs, and snacks. The lake is gorgeous and there are plenty of trails and water activities available. The camp bathrooms are concrete block and clean, but old and need updating. The sites are black topped but narrow and short, and many have slopes, making it difficult to level a trailer. There are a few playgrounds, but they are a little outside of the camping areas and without any shade or bathrooms. The campers are mostly there for the water activities, as the lake is nice and long with multiple no wake areas. It is a popular campground, so be sure to reserve early.
