Cedar Lake Ministries RV Park is a small campground with full hookups located on the grounds of a large Christian conference center on Cedar Lake. The campground is a great deal, with spacious sites, manicured lawns, and polite and courteous hosts. There is also a playground and bath house located in a central circle with the campsites around the perimeter. The campground is very quiet and peaceful, with no religious signs or discussions. However, there is a railroad track about a city block to the west of the park that has occasional traffic, but no trains at night. Cell phone reception is good, and the drive to Chicago is easy. The park is cutting down on long term stays to open the camp ground up to vacationers. 50 feet of water hose is available, but it runs through part of the neighbors site.
