This campground is located on a beautiful lake, with a variety of activities such as basketball, dodgeball, fishing, and kayaking. The sites are close together, and the ground is mostly dirt with dried up low spots that become mud puddles when it rains. The water is rusty and hard, so it is recommended to bring a filter system and softener. The owners are friendly but overwhelmed with the amount of maintenance needed. The entrance is marked only by colorful flags, and there was an event blocking the entrance when the reviewers arrived. The manager was away, and the call box was not responded to. The reviewers were not able to tour the grounds, and the cleaning lady quit after the reviewers brought their concerns to the owners. The park is in the process of being cleaned up and a new sewer system is being installed. Unfortunately, the reviewers were not able to get their deposit back despite giving a week notice.

From The Campground
Blue Lake Campground is a family-oriented campground located 20 minutes north of Fort Wayne at beautiful Blue Lake. The 240 acre fish/ski lake may be one of northern Indiana's best kept secrets. You can enjoy an abundance of water sports as well as great fishing! The campground offers overnight camping, seasonal sites, cabin rentals, and over 65 acres of wooded terrain. There is a new modern bath house with laundry, camp store, basketball/dodgeball courts, games and activities for all, high speed wireless internet available, boat ramp and pier space, and over 1500 feet of lake front. Large and small mouth bass, blue gill and crappie are available for fishing. No speed limit on the lake from 1-4pm.
