The sites are gravel and relatively level, allowing for a comfortable stay. Although some reviewers have noted that the park is okay, some have reported unfriendly or unwelcoming staff. Some campers have reported that the owners are very strict with their rules, some of which might seem excessive or insane. There are rules for everything and any violation can result in immediate eviction. Despite this, some reviewers reported that they would still use the park again if in the area.

Cloverdale/Indianapolis West KOA campground, is situated in the lightly rolling southern Putnam County, Indiana farm country, dotted with small farm fields, wooded hills, and outlined with rocky babbling streams. This year round RV Park is located just outside the town of Cloverdale, Indiana and offers full-hook up RV sites, Water and Electric sites, as well as cozy camping cabins. We are only 40 miles east from Downtown Indianapolis and west of Terre Haute. It's just 40 minutes to Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, White River Amphitheater, Monster Jam, March Madness events and much more. Fine dining can be found closer than those big city lights, with 5 unique restaurants in Cloverdale, IN or just 15 minutes away in Greencastle where there are 16 unique restaurants to choose from. Cloverdale is also home to C Bar C Expo Center, host to events from Equine shows, rodeos, and even truck and tractor pulls. If the later kind of horsepower is more your speed, you may find more of it at the Lincoln Park Speedway or Putnam Park Road course, both just 10 minutes away.Need less asphalt and concrete in your life? Good thing Putnam County has more nature preserves and parks than any other county in the state. With access to nearly 8000 acres, with creeks, ponds, a shooting range, canoeing, kayaking, and miles of hiking trails you'll need more than a weekend to see it all. You might even find out how the original glass Coca-Cola bottles got their iconic green hue. Speaking of trails, Putnam County is also home to the People Pathways, with more than 20 miles of mixed service walking, running, and biking trails. In Fact there are 5 State Parks and Recreation areas within an hour drive of the campground, including Turkey Run State Park, rated #7 Best State Park in the country.
