This campground is situated along the Big Blue River, making it a great spot for scenic views and fishing. The park is well-maintained and clean, with 11 sites that have 50 amp & water, all of which are back in, paved, and level. There is a playground for the kids, a ball diamond/soccer field, and 3 reservable shelters with picnic tables. There is also a dump station and port-a-potties, though they are not always kept clean. The camp hosts are friendly and welcoming, and there is a good Verizon signal. The cost of $20 per night makes it a great value. Unfortunately, the park can be a bit unnerving after dark due to locals driving through and parking, as well as some high crime rates. Mosquitos can also be a nuisance. All in all, it is a nice park for an overnight stay.
