The Vanderburgh 4-H Center is a picturesque campground located in a large park and fairground. It offers a variety of camping options, including pull-through sites for larger RVs and back-in sites for smaller RVs. All sites are mostly level with a gravel base and have access to standard hookups. The campground is well maintained and the bathhouses are clean and well-stocked. There is a small lake in the area, offering great views, and a good trail for dogs. The campground is also conveniently located near I-64, making it a great spot for an overnight stay. However, the train tracks nearby can be quite noisy, so be sure to bring earplugs. There is no working cable TV, but regular air antenna can pull in about 23 stations. The campground also offers WiFi, but the signal is weak and only works near the office. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the campground is maintained by volunteers. Prices are a bit high for what it offers, but it is still a great spot for a peaceful and scenic stay.
