This campground is located just off the expressway and is a convenient overnight stop. It is a gravel road with small sites full of old trailers. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get in touch with anyone at the campground, as they do not return calls. There is no security or restrooms, and the only available site is bad. There is water and 30 amp electricity, but the power is weak at times. The campground is quiet and peaceful, and has a nice management. There are plenty of stores, restaurants, and state parks nearby, as well as many lakes in the area. There is no sewer hook up, and dogs are allowed to roam free. The rate is good for the access to amenities.
