GenieSummary
This campground is large and offers a great variety of amenities, including a waterslide, big store, hand scooped ice cream, clean bathrooms and boat rentals. The sites are decent, and there are plenty of fishing areas and a large sandbar with beautiful clear water. Unfortunately, the manager was rude when one customer could not fit their car, tent, table, and fire ring on their site. The hay rides on the weekend were late and the driver went too fast, making customers feel unsafe. The laundry room had a third of the machines out of order, and the bathhouse by the lake can get dirty over a busy weekend. Entering the campground is a terrifying, crumbling one-lane bridge, and there was a strong odor of marijuana all weekend with many obviously drunk campers being loud late at night. The power was excellent and the water pressure was barely adequate.
