Great Escape RV Park & Campground is a large campground located conveniently close to Indianapolis and Greenfield. It offers a number of amenities such as an indoor pool, beach area with swimming pond, and picket fences around some of the sites. Unfortunately, the campground is located close to the interstate, resulting in a lot of noise from vehicles running over the rumble strips. Additionally, the water connection is a flexible pipe held up with a half length metal post that had been run over, and the water is full of minerals. There is also an enormous meadow surrounded by trees, where visitors can take their pets for a walk. The washers and dryers are filthy, the tennis courts are overgrown with weeds, and the pool is dirty. Despite these drawbacks, the campground is affordable and available, making it a great option for those who need a home base for visiting family.
