This campground is the perfect place for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway. Situated in the countryside north of Hartford City, the campground is surrounded by corn fields and boasts a picturesque lake, mature trees, and well-manicured grounds. With a variety of activities such as basketball, volleyball, mini-golf, fishing ponds, and a swimming beach, there is something for everyone. The roads are white rock and the sites are grass, though they are not very level. Wi-Fi is offered but is spotty, and payment must be made by cash or check. There is a small pool, but no pool at the moment, and toddlers who are not potty trained are not allowed in the pool even with swimmy diapers on. The main bathrooms are clean and modern, and the owners are friendly and accommodating. The driveway is narrow, so take it slow. The campground is a great value at $34 a night, and is the perfect spot for a peaceful retreat.
