The grounds are beautiful and there is plenty of space for RVs and trucks. The laundry and showers are free and available 24/7. Many of the permanent or all-season campers are older and have well-kept sites. The transient sites appear to be a row of buddy sites with some level issues reported. However, staff are helpful and willing to accommodate site changes when necessary. The campground has a nice pool and playground for kids, and there are multiple activities offered on Saturdays. The location is perfect for exploring South Bend and the surrounding area, and its close to Potato Creek State Park. While there have been some negative reviews about the staff and service, the majority of guests have had an enjoyable stay and would return.
