What others are saying about this campground
This campground is a great family favorite located in a state park just north of Brookville lake. It has been recently updated with two large shower/bath houses, pit toilets, and potable water stations located throughout the campground. There is a camp store with the usual items, a playground, and a beach with a boat dock and ramp. There are trails for horseback riding, hiking, and biking, as well as grassy sites and fields. The sites are paved and include a firepit and picnic table. There is a selection of stickers to choose from at the campground. Cell service is great with Sprint/Tmobile and ATT. Unfortunately, the bathrooms in the horse campground are not modern and are pit toilets. There is also an additional fee of $9 for out-of-state visitors. The campground is busy and fun, but still peaceful and quiet in some areas.

From The Campground
Whitewater Memorial State Park is a part of the Brookville Lake-Whitewater Memorial State Park Complex, located in Liberty, Indiana. The park is a great family getaway because of its 200-acre Whitewater Lake, access to Brookville Reservoir, and other recreational facilities. Shoreline hiking, flat-water boating, swimming, fishing and camping opportunities are abundant around the man-made lake. The access to Brookville Reservoir provides many opportunities for seeing migrating flocks of birds. Whitewater Memorial State Park boasts 9 miles of horseback riding trails with access both for day users and from the horsemen’s campground. The land for the park was originally purchased by the surrounding counties of Union, Fayette, Franklin and Wayne as a memorial to the men and women who served in World War II. It became the 16th park in the Indiana State Park system in 1949.
