The campground is golf cart friendly and has many well-maintained trails. There are a variety of campsites available, from waterfront or waterview to hidden in the woods. Each site has water and electric hookups, and some sites have sewer. The campground has a great lake for fishing, and there is a beach and a 9-hole golf course. The camp store and mini-golf are not always available due to staff shortages. The campground is well maintained, but the bathrooms and showers are outdated and can get dirty. The sites are mostly unlevel and the sewer/water connections are poorly maintained. The campground is great for families, but it is important to drive through and pick out a spot before committing.

West Boggs Park is a recreational park with lakeside property that offers camping, boating, fishing, golfing, and dining. The park features a 622-acre lake, 400 acres of play area, miles of multi-use trails, shelter houses, a lakefront beach, and more. The 250+ site campground offers rates and reservations, seasonal camping, and various camping policies. The park also hosts weekly programs, summer camps, concerts, Civil War reenactments, parades, fireworks, and other events. The Stoll's Lakeview Restaurant and Lakeview Golf Course are just a golf cart or boat ride away from the campsite.
