This campground is located about an hour away from a visitors home and is owned by Walnut Ridge RV dealership. It includes level sites, a clean and updated bathhouse, playground, volleyball, basketball, pickleball, putt putt, salt water pool and landscaping. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is some airplane noise during the day, but it is quiet at night. WiFi strength at the sites varies from 9-22 dB SNR. There is a slight yellow tinge to the water that has been filtered. The showers have a marked sulfur smell and the roads are asphalt and gravel in very good condition. Laundry facilities are available and the campground has implemented infection control measures. They offer a two night stay for free if a visitor purchases a camper from the dealership. There is no sewer hookup, only water and electric. A dump station is provided at the entrance/exit area, but it is not on level ground and it takes up one lane. There is a fee for swimming and the office closes early. The campground is clean and quiet, with friendly people. It is a great option for those looking for seasonal camping and for those who want easy access to their RV without having to move it.

Walnut Ridge Campground provides a safe and secure getaway destination for recreational camping in New Castle, Indiana. With 160 concrete/stone RV sites complete with 30 amp and 50 amp electric hook-ups and water for overnight or extended seasonal stays, our Henry County facility is well-kept with clean, inviting and well-maintained bath houses and large pull-through sites that can easily accommodate any size RV. The campground also features a nice pool and beautiful landscaping. Visitors have praised the campground's amazing customer service, friendly staff, and clean facilities.
