This campground is located in a beautiful county park with a lake and wooded campground. It offers a variety of activities, such as disc golf, a petting zoo, a walking path, nature trails, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, and boat rentals. The campground is suitable for smaller sizes, but can accommodate larger RVs with 30 and 50 amp service, water hookups and a dump station. The sites are well-spaced and some offer a view of the lake. The beach is closed during the off-season, but there is a heated shower/restroom open year-round. Unfortunately, the lake is full of weeds, making it difficult to fish, and the area is overrun with geese and ducks, leaving the beach covered in their droppings. The park is also not very clean and the fire rings are often full of garbage. Despite these issues, the park is still a great place to spend a few days, with plenty to do and beautiful scenery.

Buffalo Trace Park is a beautiful park located in Palmyra, Indiana. The park offers a variety of activities for visitors to enjoy, including cabins, modern and primitive camping, RV camping, shelter houses, swimming, trails, disc golf, boating, fishing, ball diamond, and petting zoo. The park also features a beach house, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball pit, multiple playgrounds, corn hole, and horse shoe pits. The park is named after the path that herds of buffalo once migrated across the area. The land that is now Buffalo Trace Park was deeded to the Town of Palmyra for the express purpose of using it as a park. Harrison County Parks operates Buffalo Trace Park under a long term lease agreement with the Town of Palmyra.
