What others are saying about this campground
The campground is located on the Mississinewa Reservoir and is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. The campground offers large, well-maintained campsites with gravel parking pads, picnic tables, fire rings, electrical hookups, and thick, healthy grass, perfect for tent camping. The campground also offers a truck delivering firewood, making it easy to stock up on wood for campfires. There is a beach with a bath house and concession stand, as well as a convenience store, and plenty of space for boats and water sports. The campground has a camp store with ice, wood, and delicious ice cream cones. There are also plenty of activities available, including disc golf, basketball goals, volleyball court, hiking trails, and a large beach and lake. Unfortunately, the campground does not have many full hook-up sites, and the bathrooms and showers could use an upgrade.

From The Campground

Mississinewa Lake, one of the three Upper Wabash flood-control reservoirs, offers excellent fishing, hunting and boating opportunities in the heart of north-central Indiana. The property features a 400-plus-site campground and family cabins, and was the first state property in Indiana to introduce seasonal camping, where visitors can retain a campsite for the entire season in an all-new campground. The expanses of forests, prairies and farmland surrounding the lake provide attractive habitat to a wide variety of wildlife, exhibiting exceptional viewing opportunities for hikers, bird watchers and touring bicyclists.
