This campground is a large one with 400 sites, many of them with old trailers and porches built around them. It is in transition, with a new owner who is slowly cleaning it up, and forcing out the permanent campers. The weekend camping sites are in a nice shaded area close to the bathroom. There are a variety of activities to keep all ages busy, such as community wide garage sales, Bingo, a DJ at night, and a large swimming pool. There are also several lakes with reports of good fishing. The people are friendly, but the restrooms are not very clean, and there is danger of stepping in doggie doo due to people not cleaning up after their pets. The electric is okay, but the sewer has exposed lines and the water is not potable. Golf carts are all over the campground, and there is loud music playing from permanent campers all night. There is a sign in the bathroom to remind people to remove beer bottles. Campers have to pay to use the pool, which is not ideal. The new owners are trying to make it a paradise, but it is still far from it.
