Deer Ridge Camping Resort in Richmond, IN is a small, privately-owned campground thats great for a short getaway. About half of the park is for seasonal campers while the other half is reserved for transients. The facilities are dated but clean and in good repair. There are big trees and shade all around, giving the place a natural feel thats better than most private parks. The campground is not far from the freeway but is fairly quiet. Deer Ridge offers a lot of activities during the summer, including a pool, game room, and more. The owners are friendly, helpful and make you feel at home. Bathhouses have large dry areas for dressing/undressing and were some of the cleanest and best maintained weve seen on the road. Many of the campsites are close together but tolerable, and some maneuvering may be required to get into a site. Despite this, people with large trailers seem to make it work, making Deer Ridge Camping Resort a great place to stay again because of the trees, bathhouses, and nice owners.

Deer Ridge Camping Resort, LLC is a family-owned campground that offers a high-quality camping experience from May 1st to October 31st. The facilities are consistently clean and well-maintained, earning AAA/CAA approval and a high rating from Woodall's. The campground is conveniently located near I-70 for easy access, but far enough away for a restful sleep. The staff is friendly and dedicated to making guests feel appreciated and relaxed.
