Little Farm on The River is a peaceful campground located near the Ohio River. The sites are spacious and have a picnic table and fire ring, as well as full hookups with 50 amp service. The park is well-maintained, with lighted electric posts, a cushioned liner in the swimming pool, and fast internet and cell phone service. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, such as a pool, pond, paddleboats, game room, miniature golf, and a petting zoo. The nearby town of Rising Sun provides plenty of sightseeing and local eateries. The campground is also close to the Grand Victoria Casino. The management staff is very helpful and friendly, and even drove to the campground to help with frozen water pipes. The only downside is that the sites can get a bit windy, so be aware of the conditions.
