This campground is a great place to stay for those visiting Parke County for the annual Covered Bridge Festival. It is a small campground with level grass sites, friendly owners, and a community feel. It is also conveniently located within walking distance of the town of Rockville. Unfortunately, the washrooms are in need of maintenance and the garbage is overflowing in the dumpster. There is no wifi or office on site, and reservations are not taken. The electric is low to the ground and a surge protector may not fit. The owner was aggressive and threatening while grading the roads around the trailer. Overall, it is an expensive option for a marginal park.
