What others are saying about this campground
Fowler Park is a well maintained campground located on the east side of the lake. It offers 53 electrical hookups, including 1 pull-thru, and 14 primitive/tent sites. The modern shower houses have clean rest rooms, and the tent sites feature raised sand beds. The park also features a swimming beach, boat ramp, trails, playgrounds, horseshoe pits, and a pioneer village. The park is located close to the Griffin Bike Park, making it a great base camp for a weekend of biking. The lake offers easy access for fishing, and visitors can take a longboard glide around the lake. The park is part of Vigo County Parks and Recreation and is first come first serve for the sites that are RV accessible with electric hookups. There are also hiking and bike trails, and the park hosts vintage camping and a pancake breakfast. While the park is well maintained, the bathroom and showers need to be updated.
