Although an older campground, the sites are close, but not tight, and our section had enough space for most rigs. Colwell Park is a peaceful primitive campground located in the northeast portion of Floyd County, 2.5 miles west of Colwell. The campground includes a picnic shelter, pit toilet, playground, and fishing access to the Little Cedar River. It is managed for camping, picnicking, and wildlife viewing. Primitive camping is available for $10 per night.
