What others are saying about this campground
Red Haw State Park is a beautiful campground with well-maintained sites and friendly camp hosts. The sites are self-contained and cost $10/night with no hookups. RV sites with water and electric are also available. There are free showers and restrooms that are kept clean. The only downside is that boat trailers are not allowed on the campsites and the parking lot is down the hill from the campground with no lights or security. The campground was full for Labor Day weekend and the trees and shade provide a great atmosphere. Be careful when coming from the North as the GPS may route you under a bridge that is less than 10 ft high. There is good fishing in the area and the RedBuds were in full bloom. The campsites are close together so it gets a 7 instead of a nine.
